The dreary winter days are no more, and here at Stonehill College, there are various signs pointing towards the beginning of spring. Though it still may be rainy and cold some days here in Massachusetts, April showers bring May flowers. Around campus, workers of the college, as well as Mother Nature herself, have been aiding in encouraging that spring weather to run at us college students with open arms. Here are just a few of the signs of spring I have observed around Stonehill College to look out for around campus!

  • Daffodils bloomings outside of Duffy Academic Center
  • The water foundation outside of the MacPhaidin Library is activated
  • The purple umbrellas on the tables outside of May are back
  • Fresh landscaping, such as newly placed mulch or mowed green grass
  • More students hanging around the quad in the middle of campus
  • The swan and ducks swimming around the pond behind the Chapel of Mary
