Spring can be pretty hard to shop for, it’s a little chilly somedays and could get up to 70 degrees on the others. When curating the perfect spring outfits, it’s important to think about the essential accessories you can pair it with.
- The best belt!- I think people underestimate the elevation a belt can create for a look. Whether it’s black leather or brown, a nice gold or silver buckle can really make a look come together and is the best accessory for dressing up denim in the spring. I suggest Aritzia or Amazon!
- The perfect Purse! – This is the perfect way to elevate a look, it can be bright and colorful or sleek and understated. A purse can elevate a look, it’s perfect to match the color with your shoes, shirt, or jacket to give a cohesive look, or just have it for a fun statement. It definitely is a good addition as an accessory. Anthropology has some great ones!
- The sleekest sunglasses!- This is an accessory I am very passionate about. Sunglasses are such an easy way to make your outfit more elevated. It can make the simplest look feel classy. I think it’s good to have a nice sleek black or brown pair, and a fun pop of color pair for the days you want to have some sunnies on but still have some color (especially in spring) Amazon or Kate spade if you’re looking for more long term wear.
- A wonderful watch!- I didn’t understand the elevation a watch could make to an outfit until I got one. It doesn’t have to be expensive, I have one from urban outfitters for twenty dollars! The simplest item of jewelry can make anyone look (and feel) put together.
- Some lovely layered jewelry!- I think the statement of layered necklaces is something I have been loving. It’s so cute and really easy to do. If you even have one longer necklace you can add a simple plain short one and it can elevate a look so well! I like to look at boutique shops for necklaces because they are always nice and unique!
